Thanks to all our visitors who helped make this year’s Manufacturing Day another success! We had a great time showing our visitors our lean manufacturing process and sharing sneak previews of upcoming SmartBolts technology. Manufacturing in Maryland is strong and getting stronger.
We had a great turnout this year and were pleased to host aspiring engineers from local universities and high schools, representatives from the National Association of Manufacturing, the Deputy Director of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing at the U.S. Department of Commerce, visitors from the National Institute of Science and Technology, other curious members of our local community, and even the inventor of SmartBolts made an appearance! What a crowd!
We look forward to hosting another Manufacturing Day event next year. Hope to see you there!
